Walks in Hampshire

Dogs are always welcome at Norton Park Hotel, and we’ve taken some of the stress out of planning activities with a furry friend in tow. Here’s a few walks you can go on, by yourself or with man’s best friend…

You'll be pleased to know that you don't have to stray far for a peaceful stroll. We have plenty of land to explore around the hotel, simply head down to The Manor House and the lake, where you'll find our walking signposts.

20 minute drive

Enjoy stunning views from the top of the hill.

St Catherine’s Hill, named for the vanished 12th century Chapel of St Catherine, is a 2.5 hour walk. Take in the gorgeous Hampshire countryside when you reach the very top of the hill. Dogs are welcome.

Walk amongst the trees.

This trail, part of New Forest, has an ethereal quality to it. Wander between the oak and ash trees and marvel at the giant redwoods planted by the Victorians in the 1850s. The walk only takes an hour, and dogs are welcome.
